Why Is Bernie Taking Money From Foreign Citizens?

Illegal foreign donations continue to fund Sanders.

Bernie Sanders is running for the Presidency of the United States. Why is his campaign continuously funded by individuals from other countries?

The activity is not new. It has been identified by the Federal Election Commission (FEC) month after month since the start of his campaign.

In its most recent filing to the FEC, the principal campaign committee of Sanders identified 277 individuals who are not American citizens or otherwise legal residents.

The May 11 report by the Treasurer of Bernie 2016, Susan Jackson, listed these people by name (see below). Under campaign finance law, Bernie 2016 will have to refund each of these 277 contributions. The list of foreign contributions covers a single month as reported in the campaign’s March Monthly FEC Report (2/1/2016-2/29/2016).

This same issue is repeated in previous months, in which Bernie 2016 has been forced to return donations from foreign citizens. |See: Another 125 Foreign Nationals Illegally Giving to US Presidential Candidate Bernie Sanders.|

The potential alliances with foreign entities such as the Green Party, The British Labor Party and Australian Labor Party has already been described in this blog. |See: Non-American Influence in the Sanders Campaign|

It is time for American media and American citizens to demand answers from Bernie Sanders.

Does Bernie Sanders and his campaign committee understand campaign finance law?

Is Bernie Sanders and his campaign committee knowingly violating campaign finance law?

Who do these foreign nationals represent?

Who does Bernie Sanders represent – American citizens or foreign nationals?

Why can the FEC identify donations from foreigners but not Bernie 2016?

And, how can Bernie Sanders continue to complain about corrupt campaign finance when his campaign is continually in violation of campaign finance law?

After 11 months of campaigning, these repeated acceptances of money from foreign citizens is unpardonable and highly suspicious.
